There is a
tenderness that emmanates from God. He
is tender.
His
mercies are tender. He has set a seal upon our
hearts. He has placed the same tenderness
in our hearts that He has within his own for us. His desire is to draw forth that
tenderness from each of us. Some of us have learned in life, Up
to this point,
Not
allow tenderness in,
And not to let it out. Thinking that tenderness Equates
with weakness Abba would remind us all That just as He is so very tender
toward us So also are we to be with one
another He says, Òremember
Beloved Ones to be tender with your self too.Ó Tenderness does not mean to
enable though. It does mean to be firm AND
tender unwavering in the truth. Psalm 25:6 Remember, O Lord, Your tender
mercy and loving-kindness; for they have been ever
from of old. Psalm 40:11 Withhold not Your
tender mercy from me, O Lord; let Your loving-kindness and Your truth
continually preserve me! Psalm 69:16 Hear and answer me, O Lord, for Your loving-kindness is sweet and comforting; according to
Your plenteous tender mercy and steadfast love turn to me. Psalm 103:4 Who redeems your life from the
pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and
crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy; Psalm 145:9 The Lord is good to all, and His
tender mercies are over all His works [the entirety of things created]. Lamentations 3:22 It is because of the Lord's mercy
and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions
fail not. Lamentations 3:32 But though He causes grief, yet
will He be moved to compassion according to the multitude
of His loving-kindness and tender mercy Hosea 2:14 Therefore, behold, I will allure
her [Israel] and bring her into the wilderness, and I will speak tenderly and
to her heart. Luke 6:36 So be merciful (sympathetic,
tender, responsive, and compassionate) even as your Father is [all these]. 51. John 16:27 For the Father Himself [tenderly]
loves you because you have loved Me and have believed
that I came out from the Father. Ephesians 4:32 And become useful and helpful and
kind to one another, tenderhearted (compassionate, understanding,
loving-hearted), forgiving one another [readily and freely], as God in Christ
forgave you. Colossians 3:12 Clothe yourselves therefore, as
God's own chosen ones (His own picked representatives), [who are] purified and
holy and well-beloved [by God Himself, by putting on behavior marked by]
tenderhearted pity and mercy, kind feeling, a lowly opinion of yourselves,
gentle ways, [and] patience [which is tireless and long-suffering, and has the
power to endure whatever comes, with good temper]. 1 Peter 3:8 Finally, all [of you] should be
of one and the same mind (united in spirit), sympathizing [with one another], loving
[each other] as brethren [of one household], compassionate and courteous
(tenderhearted and humble). |
