No, Beloved, you do not deserve good things or bad things. You also cannot earn good things. I love you. You are My beloved daughter. It is My desire to lavish you with good things, to spend time with
you, to listen to you. It is My desire to completely share your life with you. Remember how it was when your child was upset and you knew she was troubled? All your heart longed to do was to help her, to love her, to bless
her. Beloved, I am your father. It is my desire that you come to Me with every single thing that
concerns you. Unlike, an earthly parent I already know. It is easy for Me to help you. The only thing that hinders Me is your ability
(desire/willingness) to let Me in. There is no deep recess of your mind or heart that is hidden from
Me. I not only created you I indwell you. So, Beloved, you are KNOWN by Me. I even know why it is at times difficult for my children to come
to this deep level of trust for I know the woundings that caused the mistrust. So yes, you do not deserve good things, but it is My desire to
lavish you with My love. I desire to fill you with My presence and that is the one ÒgoodÓ
thing that will overshadow all other needs, wants, and desires. When you hesitate to come ask yourself this question, ÒHave I
(Jesus) ever hurt you when you came open hearted before Me?Ó For the truth is that would be impossible. I am love and you are My beloved. James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect (free, large, full) gift is from
above; it comes down from the Father of all [that gives] light, in [the shining
of] Whom there can be no variation [rising or setting] or shadow cast by His
turning [as in an eclipse]. Luke 1:53 He has filled and satisfied the hungry with good things, and the
rich He has sent away empty-handed [without a gift]. Luke 11:11 What father among you, if his son asks for a loaf of bread, will
give him a stone; or if he asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a
serpent? Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and
overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and
refresh your souls.] Psalm 139:23 Search me [thoroughly], O God, and know my heart! Try me and know
my thoughts! Acts 1:24 And they prayed and said, You, Lord, Who know all hearts (their
thoughts, passions, desires, appetites, purposes, and endeavors), indicate to
us which one of these two You have chosen Luke 5:22 But Jesus, knowing their thoughts and questionings, answered them,
Why do you question in your hearts? Matthew 9:4 But Jesus, knowing (seeing) their thoughts, said, Why do you think
evil and harbor malice in your hearts? 1-25-09 |
