Comfort, Be Still

Psalm 46:10

Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth!

Habakkuk 2:20

But the Lord is in His holy temple; let all the earth hush and keep silence before Him.

Isaiah 40:1

COMFORT, COMFORT My people, says your God.

Isaiah 49:13

Sing for joy, O heavens, and be joyful, O earth, and break forth into singing, O mountains! For the Lord has comforted His people and will have compassion upon His afflicted.

Let all the earth keep silence before him....

      Be still .

            Be quiet .

                  Be calm.

Come before me

      And delight yourself in Me

            Know that I am GOD

It is I who have called you.

I who have bid you come,

            To sit with Me,

                  To rest in Me.

Lay aside all that hinders you.

Simply come just as you are.

            In that moment of coming

                  As you come

                        As you sit

                              As you rest

                        In quiet stillness with Me

You will indeed find rest for your heart

                        And strength for tomorrow.

So, Beloved come to Me.

      Rest in my embrace.

            KNOW Me.

                  Know that I am GOD.

Know that it is I who am calling you,

                              Inviting you to come.

Let all the earth be still and know that I am GOD .

He is God.

He loves us all so dearly.

Just as we are.

Can you feel his heart crying out for the pain and suffering???

Can you feel his heart right now yearning toward you ????

His heart yearning to comfort?

He is yearning to hold and comfort.

His heart is yearning toward all of our hurt places.

To embrace us  and draw the pain the sorrow into his very self.

He is yearning to give us himself in a deeper way.

There was much pain,

      So much fear,

            So much sorrow,

                  So much loss.

                        On that trail of tears

                              And yet, in every heart

There is so much that he longs to restore.
